나에게 사람들이 메일을 보내고 잘 도착했는지 물어봤었다.
구글 메일호스팅을 통해 duwon.net 의 메일을 받았다. 전에 메일을 받으면 하루에 20-30건씩 스팸메일이 왔는데 구글 메일호스팅을 받고 나서 스팸 메일을 많이 걸러 줬었다. 근데 어느 순간부터 메일의 숫자가 적어 들더니 근래 들어서는 메일을 거의 받지 못한 상황이 되었다. 안되겠다 싶어 오늘 다시 전의 메일 환경을 돌려놓고 내 컴퓨터를 통해 메일 확인을 했다. 어머나, 그동안 구글 메일을 통해 차단된 메일들이 웹호스팅을 받고 있는 메일서버에 고스란히 있는게 아닌가. 3달동안 구글메일로 전달되지 못한 메일이 5500건. 뭐, 대부분 스팸메일이었지만...
구글 메일호스팅 시스템에 실망하기는 했지만 그동안 연락하지 않아던 지인들의 메일을 받고보니 기분이 좋다. 싸이월드에다가도 요청한 답변들이 잘 저장되어 있었다. 그동안 괜히 메일 쓸 시간 없다는 핑계로 메일 쓰는것을 미루고 있다가 오늘 메일을 보냈다.
잊어버리고 있었던 동전을 안보이는 곳에서 찾았을 때 공짜로 얻은거 같은 기분.
